Guidewire QA

Job Title: Guidewire QA Tester Experience: 3+ Years Location: Coimbatore Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Guidewire QA Tester with hands-on experience in testing Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter). The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of P&C insurance processes and solid expertise in test planning, test execution, and defect management. Key Responsibilities: - Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for Guidewire modules (PC/BC/CC). - Review business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. - Execute test cases, log defects, and track them to closure using defect management tools like JIRA/ALM. - Validate integrations between Guidewire and external systems. - Ensure data accuracy by performing backend testing using SQL queries. - Work closely with development, BA, and business teams to understand requirements and clarify issues. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospective meetings). - Support UAT by helping business users with test scenarios and defect triage. - Ensure adherence to QA best practices and maintain high-quality deliverables. Required Skills & Experience: - 3+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in Guidewire testing (PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter). - Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domain. - Experience in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts. - Hands-on experience with Guidewire configurations, product model, rating, or workflows is a plus. - Good understanding of integration testing and validating XML/JSON API responses. - Experience with tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Postman, or similar. - Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation. - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good to Have: - Guidewire Certification (PC/BC/CC Specialist or Associate). - Knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, REST Assured) is an advantage. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. -
