We are looking for a Network Infrastructure Manager to oversee our client’s network operations — ensuring setup, maintenance, reliability, and performance optimization to support high-speed trading activities. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and manage the firm’s network infrastructure to deliver high availability, low latency, and strong security. - Collaborate with trading, systems, and development teams to meet the stringent demands of algorithmic trading and maintain seamless exchange connectivity. - Design and deploy network infrastructure in colocation environments for low-latency exchange connections. - Architect and maintain inter- and intra–data center network infrastructure. - Develop scalable and resilient network architectures to support business growth. - Optimize network performance across LAN, WAN, and data center environments. - Oversee daily network operations to ensure 24/7 availability and minimal downtime. - Manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and firewalls, across multiple data centers. - Lead incident response for network issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing preventive solutions. - Build and maintain real-time monitoring and performance analysis tools. - Fine-tune configurations to minimize packet loss, latency, and jitter, and maximize throughput. - Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability. - Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. - Partner with compliance teams to maintain regulatory adherence. - Implement best practices to secure sensitive trading data and infrastructure. - Work closely with trading, development, and systems teams to align network design with trading strategies. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, and incident resolutions. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent. - Experience with colocation data centers and exchange connectivity. - Proven background in low-latency network infrastructure, ideally within the financial industry. - Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Multicast). - Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, and Juniper network equipment. - Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.G., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios). - Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure). - Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring a network operations team.
