Job Description - Architectural Design: Develop and design scalable, reliable, and secure Azure-based solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints - Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation of Azure solutions, including virtual networks, storage, databases, and compute resources, ensuring best practices and high performance - Consultation: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and developers, to gather requirements and provide technical guidance and solutions - Integration: Design and oversee the integration of Azure services with existing systems and third-party applications - Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize Azure solutions for performance, cost, and scalability - Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, implementation plans, and best practices - Compliance and Security: Ensure Azure solutions comply with industry regulations and security standards, implementing appropriate controls and monitoring - Innovation: Stay current with Azure developments and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions and improvements - Testing: Experience in testing and test automation Qualifications - Experience Level: Proven experience in delivering enterprise data platform projects in finance domain - Education Level: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related relevant field; - Certifications: Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or similar are highly preferred - Personal Attributes: Strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, effective communication, and problem-solving ability - Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps), cloud architecture, and best practices - Experience in Agile and DevSecOps delivery, quality practices, techniques, test automation and tools required for all aspect of data engineering/ data platforms - Experience in adoption of data governance frameworks using Collibra and Unity Catalog Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
