Job Title: Human Resource

ShopTrade is a full-service ecommerce agency and an official Shopify Plus service partner, dedicated to transforming brands through design, development, and our proprietary SaaS products—all with a focus on Shopify. With over a decade of industry expertise, we support midsize to enterprise-level brands looking for impactful ecommerce solutions. Now, we're on the lookout for an experienced Human Resources Manager to help shape our growing team.

Responsibilities

- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Post job openings on relevant platforms, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and collaborate with department heads to hire candidates who align with the company culture. Manage onboarding to ensure smooth integration and enhance employer branding to attract top talent.
- Employee Relations: Resolve employee conflicts, promote team-building and wellness initiatives, gather and analyze feedback to address concerns, and set up a professional, confidential complaint management system.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process, set KPIs, provide feedback, and monitor performance. Develop improvement plans for underperforming employees and conduct monthly performance reviews to support business goals.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, organize skill-building programs, create career development paths, and implement leadership training for high-potential employees.
- Compensation and Benefits: Design competitive salary structures, manage employee benefits programs, and coordinate with finance for timely payroll processing.
- Compliance and Legal: Ensure adherence to labor laws, manage legal employment matters, update HR policies, and maintain workplace safety, including coordinating safety training.
- HR Strategy and Workforce Planning: Align workforce planning with company goals, create succession plans for key roles, and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Employee Data Management: Oversee HR software (HRIS) for tracking data and performance, analyze HR metrics, provide leadership reports, and securely maintain employee records.
- Policy Development and Enforcement: Create and enforce company policies on conduct, behavior, and attendance, and keep the employee handbook updated with relevant procedures and benefits.
- Exit Management: Handle exit procedures, conduct exit interviews to gather feedback, and ensure a smooth handover during employee transitions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven HR management experience.
- Expertise in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of compensation structures, employee benefits, and payroll coordination.
- In-depth understanding of local and international labor laws, especially related to India and global compliance standards.
- Experience in overseeing HR operations across multiple regions is advantageous.
- A forward-thinking approach with the ability to leverage automation and HR software for process efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Advanced analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to develop and implement company policies while ensuring confidentiality.
- Proven ability to cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Experience managing HR functions for a company with at least 15 or more employees.
