Senior QA Engineer

Job Description Job Requisition ID # 25WD93344 Position Overview Autodesk is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join the team building the Autodesk Libraries Platform-a foundational system that enables consistent, scalable, and user-friendly access to shared content across Autodesk products. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of platform components and workflows that support designers, engineers, and developers. Your work will directlyimpacthow users discover, organize, and interact with content across desktop, mobile, and web platforms. Responsibilities - Design, implement, andmaintainautomated functional and regression tests. - Collaborate with developers to define acceptance criteria and test coverage for new features. - Create andmaintainuser-focused test plans for ongoing development. - Investigate and triage failed automationtestslog and track issues in the bug tracking system. - Reproduce and document user-reported issues with clarity and precision. - Perform end-to-end testing of interactive applications across desktop platforms. - Identifyand document bugs in complex workflows across multiple environments. - Contribute to short sprint cycles (2 weeks) and support the full software development lifecycle. - Stay current with best practices and tools in test automation and quality engineering. - Share updates on new testing capabilities and advocate for quality across the team. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing efforts. - Perform manual black-box testing as needed. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance. - Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright. - Proficiencyin JavaScript, TypeScript, and familiaritywith C++ and AWS. - Strong experience testing RESTful APIs using tools likePostman orbuilding API tests within automation frameworks. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, automation strategies, and reporting. - Experience testing complex, interactive applications across desktop, mobile, and web. - Proven ability to build andmaintaintest plans for evolving feature sets. - Proficient with defect tracking tools (Jira) and version control systems (Git). - Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Curiosity and adaptability to learnnew technologiesand domains quickly. - Empathy for users anda strong senseof product ownership.
