Job Title Maintenance Electrician Department Maintenance Engineering Reports To Maintenance Supervisor Location Salem Employment Type Full-Time Shift-Based Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to install inspect maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment in our facility The ideal candidate will ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards and company policies to support safe and efficient operations Key Responsibilities Install maintain and repair electrical wiring equipment and fixtures in accordance with electrical codes and standards Diagnose malfunctioning systems apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate efficiently and prevent breakdowns Inspect electrical systems equipment and components to identify hazards defects or the need for adjustment or repair Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns Read and interpret blueprints technical diagrams and schematics Maintain records of repairs maintenance logs and inventory of spare parts Ensure compliance with safety procedures building codes and company standards Collaborate with other maintenance team members engineers and external contractors when necessary Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician preferably in an industrial or facilities maintenance role Valid electrician license or certification as per local state national regulations Strong knowledge of electrical systems low high voltage equipment and safety standards Ability to use electrical testing tools and hand power tools Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of HVAC plumbing or mechanical systems is a plus Ability to work independently and in a team Willingness to work flexible hours shifts or on-call duties Education Experience ITI Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant field 1-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance industrial commercial setup preferred Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 12 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
