Job Category Environmental and Employee Health Safety About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Adani Green Energy Limited AGEL AGEL is part of the Adani Group s promise to provide a better cleaner and greener future for India Driven by the Group s philosophy of Growth with Goodness the Company develops builds owns operates and maintains utility- scale grid-connected solar wind farm and energy storage Hydro PSP and Battery projects The electricity generated is supplied to central and state government entities and government- backed corporations On the back of long-term Power Purchase Agreements PPAs with central and state government entities AGEL has leveraged its capabilities and expanded its presence across 12 Indian states With the integration of pump storage and battery storage projects with large solar wind portfolio AGEL shall be best placed amongst peers to supply round-the-clock green power to India s grid The Company continuously adopts and deploys the latest technologies in its projects With the target of 50 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030 AGEL is driving India on its renewable energy journey Job Purpose Associate - Safety is responsible for assisting in implementing and maintaining safety protocols across sites ensuring compliance with organizational safety standards and local regulations The role includes tracking safety performance data supporting incident investigations conducting training programs and promoting safety awareness among employees and contractors Responsibilities HSE Systems Support Assist in implementing HSE systems across designated sites ensuring consistency with group safety guidelines and site-specific needs Monitor compliance with HSE protocols conducting regular inspections and escalating issues requiring management attention Incident Prevention and Response Document and report incidents near-misses and unsafe conditions ensuring accurate recording and timely communication with site leads Support incident investigations by collecting evidence maintaining logs and assisting in the development of corrective actions Safety Communication and Training Coordinate safety communication initiatives such as distributing bulletins sharing best practices and organizing safety awareness campaigns Support the execution of training programs maintaining attendance records and tracking completion rates Audit and Compliance Tracking Assist in preparing sites for audits by ensuring documentation is complete and compliance gaps are addressed before assessments Track audit findings and follow up on action items to ensure timely resolution and implementation of recommendations Emergency Preparedness Help develop and implement site emergency response plans ensuring drills are conducted to test readiness and identify improvement areas Maintain updated contact lists and resources to ensure effective communication and coordination during emergencies Safety Data Management Update and maintain site safety performance data in MIS tools providing accurate reports to senior management as required Ensure all safety records such as training logs and incident reports are properly organized and accessible for reference Key Stakeholders - Internal Lead Safety Teams Site Safety Supervisors Project Teams HR and Training Teams Operations Teams Key Stakeholders - External Certification Bodies Contractors and Vendors Local Regulatory Authorities Auditors Emergency Services Qualifications Educational Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Safety Management Advanced Diploma Post Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred Basic safety certifications like NEBOSH IGC Experience 8 years of experience in supporting safety operations and conducting risk assessments Exposure to safety training and compliance processes Hydro PSP project experience is preferred
