Senior Software Engineer - DevOpsLocation - BangaloreABOUT USFounded in 2014 Circles is a global technology company reimagining the telco industry with its SaaS platform - Circles X helping telco operators launch and operate successful digital brands through its offerings Having pioneered a successful blueprint for disrupting the telco space in Singapore Circles has since launched its own digital telco Circles Life in Singapore Taiwan and Australia Circles has also partnered with other telco operators to launch digital services enabling our partners to accelerate growth and capture market share within a short period of time Today Circles is partnering with operators in 14 countries to deliver delightful digital experiences to millions of people through our businesses We are backed by global investors such as Sequoia Warburg Pincus EDBI and Founders Fund - renowned backers of industry-shaking innovators Role ExpectationsTo build a World Class Platform CirclesX we enable the best engineering brains to enjoy crafting software with optimal effort and focus on delivering for our customers As a Senior Software Engineer in DevOps you will play a critical role in optimizing our development workflows automating infrastructure provisioning and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation across development and operations teams Implementing and supporting end-to-end CI CD systems using tools such as Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation to provision configure and manage cloud-based resources Implement monitoring and logging mechanisms using tools like Prometheus ELK stack or New Relic to proactively identify and address performance issues and security threats Collaborate closely with team members across the company to continuously innovate Devops strategy based on their evolving needs Implementing automation to monitor and gain more insight into applications and system health Troubleshoot and identifying problem areas within the current software systems and crafting efficient solutions Develop improve and maintain our infrastructure codebase Craft and implement critical metrics using various analytics methods and dashboards IMPORTANT Please note that this is a 100 hands-on role Our assessment process focuses on this Please excuse us if you cannot demonstrate deep dive hands-on skills Core Requirements Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field Proven experience 6 years in a DevOps role Deep understanding of DevOps principles practices and methodologies with hands-on experience in implementing CI CD pipelines infrastructure automation and configuration management Expertise in cloud computing platforms e g AWS GCP and related services with experience in architecting and managing cloud-based infrastructure Proficiency in IaC languages like Terraform CloudFormation Strong scripting and programming skills e g Python Bash PowerShell for automation and tooling development Experience with containerization technologies e g Docker and container orchestration platforms e g Kubernetes including deployment management and troubleshooting Excellent communication to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive organizational change Good to have skills Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certified Kubernetes Administrator CKA or Certified Jenkins Engineer are a plus Programming knowledge of Java or any other comparable language will be an added advantage
