Job Description The Business Continuity Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity plans to ensure organizational resilience in the face of disruptions. This role involves assessing risks, facilitating training programs, conducting drills, and collaborating with various departments to safeguard critical business functions. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Monitor and review existing plans, making necessary updates based on changing business needs or regulatory requirements. - Design, implement and improve cross-functional programs that enable the recovery of critical IT business functions and systems. - Schedule and coordinate IT recovery exercise of IT systems, call tree, simulation and tabletop for IT systems. - Implement strategies and procedures for effective response to incidents and the resumption of critical IT business operations. - Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the business continuity program and report findings to senior management. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integration of continuity plans across all departments. - Create and maintain documentation for DR procedures for applications, data and infrastructure. - Conduct regular drills and tests to validate the effectiveness of recovery and management reporting. - Backup and DR setup, KPI management and reporting. - Datacenter management with a focus on safety, reliability and continuous availability of data center environment. - Partner closely with the service lines towards best-in-class program and relationship. - Coordinate with the Business function and conduct risk assessments, Resilience assessment, Business Impact Analysis. - Organize and lead simulation exercises and drills to test the effectiveness of business continuity plans and identify areas for improvement. - Work with IT teams to ensure that technology solutions are integrated into the business continuity plans, including data recovery and cybersecurity measures. - Ensure Recoverability gaps are identified, and risk are highlighted and addressed timely. - Ensure committed RPO/ RTO SLA's. - Handle BC/DR issues and risk registers effectively. - Prompt closure of DR Drill observations. - Serve as a point of contact for business continuity-related inquiries and incidents. - Assess and manage third-party risks, ensuring that vendors have appropriate business continuity plans that align with organizational needs. - Analyze incidents and exercises to identify lessons learned and integrate those findings into future planning and training efforts. - Maintain up-to-date documentation of all business continuity plans, procedures, and related materials. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Proven knowledge in BCMS Implementation, Management and Auditing 2. ISO 22301 BCMS Implementation certified (Preferred) 3. Knowledge on BCM regulatory compliances (RBI/ IT Act/ SEBI, etc.) 4. Knowledge in Cloud backup management. 5. Knowledge in basic data centre architecture/ design/ components. 6. Understanding of various aspects of technology resilience design and process aspects. SPECIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES: Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate Minimum Experience: - 6-8 Years Competencies: - Should have a solid understanding of business processes and IT systems that are critical for the organization's operations and how they can be affected by different scenarios. - Should be familiar with industry best practices and standards for BCP/ DR, such as ISO 22301 and have experience in performing business impact analysis, crisis management, recovery planning and testing.
