We are looking for technically oriented Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst to join our offshore team, focused on delivering capabilities for our orchestration platform. This role involves working closely with solution and software architects to translate technical solution designs into user stories and actionable requirements for the development team.

Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Position: Fulltime

Experience: 10+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with solution architects and software architects to understand technical designs and break them down into structured, well-defined user stories.

• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in JIRA to ensure sprint readiness.

• Author detailed technical and functional requirements for the abstraction/orchestration layer.

• Work with engineering, QA, and integration teams to clarify requirements and validate implementation.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives).

• Understand API interactions, system orchestration flows, and error handling across distributed services.

• Partner with technical teams to track dependencies, resolve ambiguities, and ensure smooth delivery of features.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Product Owner in a technical development environment.

• Strong understanding of system integration, service-based architecture, and API-driven workflows.

• Experience writing and managing user stories in JIRA and collaborating in Agile teams.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into structured, actionable requirements.

• Experience working with or within cloud-hosted environments, particularly AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to network management systems such as ACS, CMTS, Cisco PCP, or PNR.

• Understanding of orchestration and state management in distributed systems.

• Familiarity with cable industry technologies (DOCSIS, EPON, etc.) is a plus.

• Experience working with microservices or adapter-based architecture
