Management Level GBusiness Division Shareholder Services Product EngineeringBusiness Function Department BAT TestingJob Title Lead Business Acceptance TesterReporting to Job Title Matthew BatesEquiniti is a leading international provider of shareholder pension remediation and credit technology With over 6000 employees it supports 37 million people in 120 countries EQs vision is to be the leading global share registrar offering complementary services to its client base and our values set the core foundations to our success We are TRUSTED to deliver on our commitments COMMERCIAL in building long term value COLLABORATIVE in our approach and we IMPROVE by continually enhancing our skills and services There has never been a better time to join EQ Role SummaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Product Delivery Testing Team as a Lead Business acceptance Tester This role will consist of testing new functionality across UK Shareholder services products which include Dividends and reissues Share Incentive Plans Sharesave UK and International and Executive and Discretionary Plans Premier These products are held on a variety of different systems so the job holder will have a real opportunity to learn a variety of products and systems The role of the Lead Business acceptance will be part of a testing team on various projects to support the testing lifecycle and ensure that requirements are fully tested and that quality is assured This includes reviewing attending sprint ceremonies IT documents writing reviewing complex test scenarios and setting up test conditions and data in the test environment that will enable testing to be done test execution regression testing raising bugs and liaising with IT and the business Core Duties ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking the following activities and providing oversight and transparency across the release process Engage closely with key stakeholders such as IT Product Management and Operations to ensure all requirements of the development are covered off thoroughly in the BAT testing Involvement in pre BAT planning including understanding requirements design specifications and converting them into test scripts Reviewing all test scenarios put together by the BAT FT or operational team Monitor testing to ensure the correct processes and standards are followed and timescales are met Test execution Analyse test results to ensure data integrity and accuracy Responsible for logging and tracking bugs and will work closely with Scrum Masters Product owners Developers Project Managers and Product Managers to ensure quality testing is taking place in a timely manner Lead projects with other members of the team or operational team members that assist with testing Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across Equiniti delivery teams Maintaining Azure dev ops for reporting and recording test cases Liaison with the operational team for business sign off of testing readiness for live and live deployment checks Ability to be able to able to work on your own and make decisions Provide support and training to others in a clear and concise manner Prioritisation of own workload Reporting to the senior lead business acceptance test manager Skills Capabilities and AttributesThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience skills and behaviours Strong attention to detail and capable of following defined processes and procedures Have good problem solving skills and a questioning mind Strong organisational skills and flexibility to be able to manage own time and assist the team with work priorities to ensure delivery of key testing dates are met Strong communication skills and team working ethic Previous experience of testing is essential Knowledge of products including Employee Share Plans Sharesave Share Incentive Plans and Premier executive and discretionary and Global Nominee dividends and reissues would be a definite advantage Experience in Agile and Waterfall based continuous testing DevOps and or Jira SQL Server and Microsoft office Mobile app Ability to communicate about IT and technology in plain-English and in non-technical terms to colleagues and Clients Must be flexible independent and self-motivated Ability to work calmly and methodically when under pressure We are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age disability sex gender reassignment sexual orientation pregnancy and maternity race religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships Please note any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment screening checks Equiniti
