PVC Shift In-Charge Company VIP Pipes Pvt Ltd Location Mandideep Department Production Position Type Full-time Shift-based Role Overview The PVC Shift In-Charge will be responsible for supervising and managing the production activities during assigned shifts This role ensures smooth operation of PVC pipe manufacturing processes adherence to quality standards workforce management and compliance with safety protocols The position requires strong leadership technical knowledge of extrusion processes and the ability to coordinate between departments Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day production activities in the PVC pipe extrusion and molding section Ensure achievement of production targets with optimal utilization of manpower machines and materials Monitor process parameters machine performance and product quality during the shift Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective actions to minimize downtime Maintain strict adherence to safety health and environmental guidelines on the shop floor Prepare and submit daily shift reports including production output wastage and incidents Train guide and motivate operators and helpers to improve efficiency and reduce errors Ensure proper documentation of production logs quality checks and shift handovers Support continuous improvement initiatives in production processes and workforce management Qualifications Skills Diploma B Tech in Mechanical Production or Polymer Engineering preferred 3-5 years of experience in PVC pipe manufacturing or plastic extrusion industry Strong knowledge of extrusion machines die-heads cooling tanks haul-offs and cutters Familiarity with ISO standards quality control procedures and safety practices Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle workforce discipline effectively Performance Indicators Achievement of daily weekly production targets Reduction in machine downtime and wastage Compliance with quality standards and safety norms Effective workforce management and training outcomes Compensation Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Overtime and shift allowance as per company policy Provident Fund ESI and other statutory benefits Opportunities for career growth within production and operations management Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
