Job Summary We are seeking an Agile experienced Scrum master to lead in the delivery of software assets for the Retail Digital Channels portfolio The candidate will assist in the delivery of many strategic programs enable communication between delivery units management teams by their work predominately focused on software development The candidate will be expected to manage high quality software delivery including the writing agreeing with partners and successful delivery of Behavioural Driven Development BDD and Test-Driven Development TDD automated test assets as well as the coding of the implementation of those assets for Internet Banking Mobile and other related channel software deliverables The successful candidate will be an experienced Scrum Master with a track record in delivering multiple concurrent complex projects in a regulated environment ideally within a financial institution s context The candidate should have experience working with teams distributed across multiple countries and experience working with program management teams to implement desired high-quality software assets with flexible prioritisation in a Scrum based model The successful candidate is expected to Follow a structured approach to software delivery within the team Align with the development plans and change agenda of greater team Participate in and drive through system requirements gathering especially in the context of adhering to BDD TDD principles Manage dependencies of all technical deliverables Enforce sound technical standards adherence in all deliverables Actively own quality of all software written and adhere to rigorous quality standards Be active in suggesting positive change for peers and partner teams Advocate best practice release and change management protocols for developments consisting of multiple streams Take ownership and accountability of software deliverables Key Responsibilities Strong knowledge in Agile Development exp in CI CD TDD BDD SCRUM KanBan etc Min 5 years experience Software development and min 2 yrs in team Management project management Strong knowledge in Agile methodologies and experience in facilitating the ceremonies Should have strong knowledge in Agile software delivery Experience with leveraging advanced features and tools in Atlassian software suite Passion and flair for technology at home with team-oriented collaborative and consultative environment Proven skills in co-ordination staff management and leadership working with vendors and internal teams Should have good experience in conduction Scrum of Scrum tracking the actions items highlighting the risks tracking project plan as per the milestones Strong knowledge of risk and regulatory delivery Good knowledge on Release management and deployment coordination activities Knowledge of all aspects of software design and development Excellent oral and written communication skills Should have a good analytical skills Contribute to creation of standards frameworks for the project Should have the capability to handle more than one project at a same time Strategy Awareness and understanding of the business strategy and model appropriate to the role Business Awareness and understanding of Retail business the wider business economic and market environment in which the Group operates Processes Awareness and understanding of Agile s w development process change and release management process Skills and Experience People Talent Responsible for the capability development of the team unit Responsible for conducting appraisals feedback handling work allocations for direct reports reviewing the same for indirect reports Responsible for managing the career growth motivation retention for the assigned group Skill to coordinate resources and teams from different countries Good Stakeholder Management Skills Risk Management Awareness and understanding of Risk management process Regulatory Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics including regulatory and business conduct across Standard Chartered Bank This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with in letter and spirit all applicable laws regulations guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct Effectively and collaboratively identify escalate mitigate and resolve risk conduct and compliance matters Key stakeholders Application Team Business Hive Leadership Qualifications Banking Domain Knowledge is preferable Experience in the software development using Agile methodologies Knowledge Experience in practising Agile Lean framework Knowledge Experience in DevOps Experience in handling projects of mobile online banking platform More than 5 years experience in software development domain and 2 years in team Management project management Any Certifications -
