Job Summary The Production Controller is responsible for planning scheduling and monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure timely production and delivery of products The role ensures optimal utilization of resources materials machinery and manpower while maintaining quality and minimizing costs Key Responsibilities Prepare and update daily weekly and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity Coordinate with departments such as procurement maintenance and quality to ensure smooth production flow Monitor production progress and identify any deviations or bottlenecks taking corrective actions promptly Optimize machine and manpower utilization to achieve efficiency targets Maintain accurate records of production data material consumption and downtime Ensure availability of raw materials and components for uninterrupted production Analyze production performance using KPIs like OEE Overall Equipment Effectiveness and productivity ratios Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Support inventory management by monitoring work-in-progress WIP and finished goods levels Prepare daily weekly reports on production output delays and resource utilization Skills Competencies Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning Proficiency in ERP MRP systems and Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines Effective communication and coordination skills Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen principles preferred Educational Qualification Diploma B E B Tech in Mechanical Production or Industrial Engineering MBA in Operations Management preferred for senior roles Experience Required 5 years of experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing setup e g automotive plastic moulding FMCG or engineering industries Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
