Job Title Field Technician Signaling and Development Indian Railways Location Various locations across IndiaDepartment Signaling and Telecommunication S T Reports To Signaling Engineer SupervisorJob Type Full-time PermanentJob Overview Surya Electronics is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician specializing inSignaling and Development services The ideal candidate will be responsible for theinstallation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of signaling systems telecommunication equipment and related infrastructure The position demands hands-onwork at various railway stations and development projects ensuring seamless safe andexf4x80x86xaficient operations in line with Indian Railways standards Key Responsibilities Installation Maintenance o Install and maintain signaling systems track circuits interlocking systems signals and associated equipment at field locations o Perform routine maintenance and testing of signaling devices andtelecommunication networks to ensure they meet safety and operationalstandards Troubleshooting Repairs o Identify faults in signaling and communication systems and take immediatecorrective actions to minimize disruption to services o Perform field repairs calibrations and adjustments on signaling andtelecommunication systems as needed Development Upgrades o Support the installation and commissioning of new signaling andtelecommunication systems as part of development projects o Collaborate with development teams in upgrading existing signaling systemsto modern technologies for improved exf4x80x86xaficiency Safety Compliance o Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to safety protocols IndianRailways guidelines and regulatory requirements o Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments at work sites Documentation Reporting o Maintain detailed records of all work performed including installations repairs and maintenance schedules RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in railway signaling telecommunication or similar technical fields o Hands-on experience with signaling devices track circuits andcommunication systems used in the railway industry
