Job Title Principal Machine Learning Engineer Location Bengaluru India Company US-Based SaaS Product Company Experience 8-12 years About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Machine Learning ML Natural Language Processing NLP Retrieval-Augmented Generation RAG and Large Language Models LLMs You will play a pivotal role in designing developing and deploying advanced ML solutions that drive innovation and business outcomes Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Machine Learning models focusing on NLP RAG and LLMs Architect and optimize ML pipelines for scalability efficiency and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers data scientists and engineers to define technical requirements and deliver impactful ML solutions Research and evaluate state-of-the-art ML models and technologies to improve existing systems Build and fine-tune LLMs for specific business use cases Develop robust data pipelines and integrate ML models into production environments Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists Drive best practices for ML model deployment monitoring and maintenance Required Skills and Qualifications 8-12 years of experience in Machine Learning NLP and AI Strong expertise in LLMs and RAG frameworks Proficiency in Python and ML libraries frameworks TensorFlow PyTorch Hugging Face etc Experience in designing and deploying large-scale ML models in production environments Solid understanding of cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP Knowledge of data preprocessing feature engineering and model optimization Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Excellent communication and leadership abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a SaaS product company Contributions to open-source ML NLP projects Advanced degree Master s or PhD in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence or related fields Why Join Us Be part of a fast-growing innovative SaaS company with global reach Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in ML and AI Collaborative and inclusive work environment Competitive compensation and benefits
