Job Description Job Summary: The Football Coach will lead the school's football training program while also assisting in the overall Physical Education curriculum. The role combines expertise in football coaching with the ability to contribute to other sports and fitness activities, ensuring holistic physical development and sportsmanship among students. Key Responsibilities: Football Coaching: - Plan, organize, and conduct regular football practice sessions for various student age groups. - Teach and develop football skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, defending, and team tactics. - Identify and train talented players for inter-house and inter-school tournaments. - Manage team selection, match preparation, and game-day strategies. - Ensure proper use and maintenance of football equipment and the ground. - Instill discipline, teamwork, and fair play among players. General Physical Education: - Conduct PE periods for different classes as per the timetable. - Organize warm-up drills, physical fitness exercises, and basic sports activities. - Support and assist in other sports events and school athletic meets. - Promote physical fitness, health awareness, and an active lifestyle among students. - Assist in organizing annual sports day, house events, and inter-school competitions. - Ensure student safety and proper conduct during all physical activities. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed preferred). - Experience coaching football at the school or academy level. - Knowledge of general physical education principles and school sports management. - Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills. - Ability to handle students across age groups and skill levels. - Passion for sports education and youth development.
