Job Title: Chartered Accountant (Australian Tax Specialist) Location: Pune, Maharashtra Experience Required: 2+ years (Australian Taxation) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with hands-on experience in Australian taxation and compliance to join our dynamic finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, ATO regulations, and reporting requirements, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review Australian tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts. - Ensure compliance with ATO regulations, including BAS, IAS, FBT, and GST reporting. - Perform tax planning and advisory for Australian clients. - Assist in financial statement preparation and reconciliation as per Australian accounting standards. - Liaise with clients, auditors, and tax authorities to resolve queries and ensure timely submissions. - Stay updated on changes in Australian tax legislation and their implications. - Support internal process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Required Qualifications & Skills - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). - Minimum 2 years of experience working with Australian taxation and compliance. - In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws and ATO filing processes. - Experience with accounting/tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, etc.). - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and client management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in working with Australian clients in a public accounting or outsourcing firm. - Exposure to transfer pricing, superannuation, or corporate structuring will be an advantage. - Understanding of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
