ServiceNow is currently looking for a Director, Financial Reporting, based in our office either in Bangalore or Hyderabad.

The Director will be responsible for the entire international financial reporting process covering EMEA, LATAM and APAC regions, managing statutory financial reporting, tax compliance support, MA activities, ESG regulation.

What you get to do in this role:

Statutory compliance:

- Ensure all accounting practices and records comply with local statutory requirements of each country.
- Review and manage accurate and timely preparation and submission of financial statements and reports in accordance with local accounting standards.

Audit coordination:

- Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits of statutory financial statements
- Present and resolve critical accounting issues with external auditors

Tax Compliance:

- Oversee preparation and review of tax computation and tax returns in partnership with international tax team.

Legal Compliance:

- Effectively partner with regional legal teams to ensure all entities are legally compliant

ESG reporting:

- Partner with Global Impact, SEC reporting and other teams to drive ESG and CSRD reporting in various territories.

Mergers and acquisitions:

- Partner with MA finance and other finance teams in successfully and efficiently integrating acquired entities into ServiceNow environment.

Policy and procedure management:

- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures that comply with statutory regulations and bridge the gap between corporate and statutory accounting policies.
- Review and drafting of technical memorandums and determining impact of new accounting rules on the entities.
- Research and document statutory technical accounting matters

Stakeholder communication:

- Maintain effective communication with multiple stakeholders including internal and external auditors, various finance teams, tax and legal etc.
- Develop statutory reporting outlook to brief leadership team.

Continuous improvement:

- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in statutory reporting.
