Job Title: Health Insurance Team Leader Department: Health Insurance Sales Reporting To: Team Manager Location: Vadapalani Employment Type: Full-time The Health Insurance Team Leader will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of insurance executives or advisors to achieve sales and service targets. The role involves guiding the team in promoting health insurance products, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of health insurance executives to achieve business goals. Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the team and monitor performance. Train and coach team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling. Ensure all policies and procedures comply with IRDAI and company regulations. Track and analyze team performance metrics, preparing regular reports for management. Handle escalated customer queries and provide appropriate solutions promptly. Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to plan and execute campaigns. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and motivational sessions. Identify underperformers and implement performance improvement plans. Maintain strong product knowledge of all health insurance offerings and competitors. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in health insurance sales, including at least 1–2 years in a team leader role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of health insurance products and IRDAI compliance. Excellent analytical and reporting skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Ability to work under pressure and achieve challenging targets. Key Performance Indicators : Team target achievement (monthly). Policy conversion ratio. Accuracy and compliance in documentation. Team productivity and attendance adherence.
