RedSeal is an enterprise cyber security platform company located in San Jose California and Pune India The platform calculates a model of the networking infrastructure physical cloud hybrid and helps customers validate and improve their overall level of resilience accelerate incident containment and improve the productivity of the resource constrained security and networking teams Our customers include all four branches of the military and some of the largest finance healthcare power and technology companies in the world Our domain is network security and the industry is going through a radical expansion We think our future is very bright and wed love to share our vision with you RedSeal is looking to rapidly transform our technology into a SaaS offering With that comes an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled DevOps engineer to join our company to lead this transformation Required Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field Deep understanding of DevOps engineering CI CD and software development 5 years of relevant professional experience Extensive experience with designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code IaC using Terraform Hands-on experience with Linux OS and cloud AWS GCP and or Azure Hands-on experience with container orchestration systems and microservices Kubernetes Docker etc Hands-on DevOps engineering and architecture across a wide variety of technology and cloud environments with a focus on software development Working knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible Experience working with modern DevOps build and CI CD tools such as CI Server Jenkins GitHub Bitbucket GitLab Maven npm Gradle TFS Strong team player excellent communication skills ability to be customer facing Experience with compliance standards such as SOC 2 and CIS Responsibilities Actively manage improve and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS including backups patches and scaling Integrate security practices into the CI CD pipeline Implement security testing tools and automate security checks within the development workflow Evaluate select and implement security tools and technologies Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to detect issues proactively Implement strategies to minimize downtime and improve system uptime Monitor cloud environments watch logs and maintain uptime Monitor and Manage cloud infrastructure costs Maximize maintainability and efficiency of current systems software via code and performance monitoring as well as optimization reporting and integration management Help maintain unify and upgrade existing testing and staging environments for a variety of production services Help maintain CI CD model for new SaaS project Design build configure and manage AWS based infrastructure and configuration using IaC Collaborating with sales product management and software engineering teams to get better understand of our clients needs - technically and functionally Influencing the product roadmap by suggesting new features based on customer needs Debug application issues and provide quick workarounds Mentor virtual team members Document optimize and administer existing cloud infrastructure throughout the organization AWS Develop scripts using configuration management frameworks Terraform Ansible Kubernetes Docker Preferred Areas of Interest We do highly value the ability to assimilate new and evolving technologies rapidly and you ll find RedSeal offers a productive environment for you to learn Examples of experience skill and knowledge areas of interest include Hands-on experience leading ground up transformation of enterprise software to the Cloud AWS Cloud certification EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT RedSeal is proud to be an equal opportunity employer dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforcePowered by JazzHR
