Job Description - Lead and manage all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with relevant regulations. - Develop and implement strategic financial plans to support business growth within the retail industry. - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to guide decision-making processes. - Collaborate with senior management to evaluate and manage financial risks effectively. - Monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for cost optimisation, and implement necessary improvements. - Ensure efficient cash flow management and oversee tax planning and compliance. - Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve individual and departmental goals. - Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements. The Successful Applicant A successful Head of Finance should have: - 8-10 years of experience in food retail chain/restaurants or similar field. - A strong educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field. - Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. - Experience in the retail or food multiples/supermarket industry is highly preferred. - Proficiency in financial software and tools for budgeting and forecasting. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a finance team. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. - A thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the finance sector.
