Job Summary
The Data and Analytics Practice Lead will oversee the successful delivery of Algonomy's data and analytics projects, ensuring our retail clients derive maximum value from their data assets. This leadership role involves setting strategy, managing delivery teams, collaborating across functions, and upholding data governance and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical and business acumen to build and execute data-driven strategies aligned with Algonomy's mission of transforming retail with data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive data and analytics delivery strategy tailored
to Algonomy's retail and customer-centric focus.
Lead and manage the data and analytics delivery team, ensuring alignment with
Algonomy's broader objectives.
Engage with senior leadership to define and prioritize data-driven initiatives, leveraging analytics to inform business decisions.
Project and Program Oversight
Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex data and analytics projects, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective outcomes.
Establish project governance, risk management, and quality assurance standards for effective project delivery.
Monitor project portfolios and allocate resources to optimize productivity across multiple client engagements.
Revenue Growth and Market Innovation
Establish and implement go-to-market strategies for generative AI offerings, including pricing models and partnership opportunities.
Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to optimize the delivery of AI-powered solutions, driving value for clients and enhancing competitive differentiation.
Anticipate and leverage market trends, customer insights, and industry advancements to refine AI product offerings and identify new revenue streams.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison between data delivery teams, sales, product, and client- facing teams to ensure client needs are met.
Present data strategies, project status, and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering alignment.
Drive collaboration with product management and engineering teams to align on data needs and operational goals.
Innovation and Technology Adoption
Stay abreast of the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and AI to enhance
Algonomy's data capabilities.
Drive the adoption of advanced analytics tools and technologies to improve data delivery efficiency and solution impact.
Assess and recommend new tools, platforms, and partners to continuously improve data solutions.
Team Development and Leadership
Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing data and analytics team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback to support team growth.
Key Qualifications
1. Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer
Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 15+ years of experience in data and analytics, including at least 5 years in a leadership role with a proven track record in delivery management.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of data warehousing, data visualization, data governance, and big data tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Retail Analytics Knowledge: Familiarity with retail analytics and customer engagement platforms is preferred.
Project Management Expertise: Strong background in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
Leadership and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a track record of delivering actionable insights from complex data.
