Key Responsibilities Experienced Mechanical Engineer with Auto CAD drafting, Detail engineering and Data management skills. Experience in managing Master Document Register, Record book, Revision history etc. - Developed and implemented custom LISP routines to automate repetitive drafting and design tasks, reducing project completion times by up to 20 to 30%. - Created and maintained a company-wide library of LISP applications and dynamic blocks, ensuring consistent application of CAD standards across all projects. - Integrated custom LISP functions with existing AutoCAD features, such as data extraction, to automatically generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) from drawings. - Integrated AutoLISP solutions with external applications, including importing data from Excel spreadsheets and linking to external databases for dynamic attribute updates. - Provided technical support and training to CAD users on the proper use of LISP routines and customized tools, improving overall team productivity. - Led the design, development, and deployment of complex automation solutions using AutoLISP, VBA, and the AutoCAD .NET API to streamline multi-departmental workflows. - Leveraged Visual LISP's debugging tools to troubleshoot and optimize existing routines, significantly improving performance and stability. - Collaborated with engineering and project management teams to define requirements and translate complex design challenges into effective, automated CAD solutions. - Pioneered process improvements for CAD data management, file-handling, and batch processing, ensuring data integrity and consistency across projects.
