About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom Solution Architect with deep expertise in 4G/5G Core, Cloud NFVI, Kubernetes, Networking, and Packet Core. The ideal candidate must have hands-on Ericsson solution experience and the ability to design, deliver, and optimize next-generation telecom solutions for large-scale deployments.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Architecture & Design
- Architect and design end-to-end telecom solutions across 4G EPC, 5G Core, Packet Core, and Gateway Controllers.
- Work on Ericsson solutions (EPC, 5GC, NFVI, vEPC, CNFs) ensuring compatibility, scalability, and high performance.
- Prepare high-level and low-level design documents, deployment blueprints, and integration strategies.
- Technology Expertise
- Lead cloud-native telecom deployments using NFVI, Kubernetes, Docker, and virtualization platforms.
- Strong understanding of Ericsson Packet Core solutions (SGSN-MME, SAPC/PCRF, PGW/UPF, SMF, AMF, UDM, AUSF, NRF, PCF).
- Optimize network slicing, orchestration, and service assurance frameworks for 5G environments.
- Integration & Implementation
- Work closely with operations teams to deploy and integrate Ericsson core products into customer environments.
- Ensure compliance with 3GPP, ETSI, and O-RAN standards.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across core, NFVI, and cloud-native platforms.
- Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
- Collaborate with Ericsson product teams, system integrators, and telecom operators.
- Support RFPs/RFIs with technical solutioning and customer presentations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor teams on best practices for Ericsson solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

- 12+ years in telecom architecture, solution design, and implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ericsson Packet Core and 5G Core products.
- Expertise in 4G EPC (MME, SGW, PGW, HSS, PCRF) and 5G Core (AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, NRF, PCF, AUSF, NSSF).
- Deep knowledge of Cloud NFVI, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, VMware.
- Strong expertise in Networking, Packet Core, Gateway Controllers, Routing & Switching.
- Familiarity with telecom protocols: Diameter, GTP-C/U, SIP, HTTP/2, SCTP.
- Strong exposure to Ericsson OSS/BSS integration and multi-vendor environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ericsson certification(s) in EPC/5GC/NFVI solutions.
- Kubernetes (CKA/CKS) or Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
- Experience in network automation, CI/CD pipelines, and edge computing.
- Prior work experience with large-scale Ericsson rollouts.
