Student Research Fellowship

is designed to identify the brightest young minds in commerce, economics, and finance — and give them a platform to publish research, build reputation, and kickstart careers in equity research, mutual funds, and fintech.

Role Overview
As a

Research Fellow at DISCVR , you’ll get paid to conduct financial and business research, publish your work on our platform, and gain exposure across the student finance ecosystem. Your research will be accessible to thousands of users and shared widely across LinkedIn, Twitter, and finance networks — helping you build a personal brand before graduation.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Publishing
Conduct equity, mutual fund, and sectoral research using real market data
Publish at least 3 –5 high-quality research notes/articles per week

on DISCVR
Collaborate with our editorial team to ensure clarity, rigor, and presentation
Cover themes like: market outlook, fund analysis, sector comparisons, IPO analysis, personal finance trends
Community & Visibility
Represent your college in the national DISCVR research network
Share and promote your research across student and professional communities
Engage with peers on published insights (comments, discussions, peer reviews)
Innovation & Feedback
Suggest new features, research tools, or content formats for the platform
Provide insights on how students prefer to consume finance research

✅ Who We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
Currently enrolled

in MBA, BBA, B.Com, M.Com, Economics, Finance, CFA L1, or related programs
Strong analytical and writing skills — able to simplify complex financial concepts
Interest in equity research, asset management, or fintech
Prior exposure to research reports, investment clubs, or finance competitions is a plus
Passion for building a
