Industry Automobile Sheet Metal Components Engine Valves Position Quality Manager Location Bahadurgarh Department Quality Assurance Quality Control Reports To Managing Director Role Overview The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance and quality control functions in sheet metal and engine valve manufacturing The role ensures compliance with automotive standards IATF 16949 ISO 9001 customer-specific requirements and regulatory guidelines while driving continuous improvement in product and process quality Key Responsibilities Quality Management System QMS Establish implement and maintain QMS in line with IATF 16949 ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements Coordinate audits internal customer and third-party and ensure timely closure of NCs Incoming In-Process Final Quality Develop and monitor inspection standards for raw materials sheet metal components engine valves and assemblies Ensure defect-free supplies to OEMs Tier-1 and domestic customers Oversee inspection processes and SPC MSA and calibration of measuring equipment Supplier Quality Conduct supplier audits and ensure incoming material quality Develop and improve supplier performance through corrective actions and quality improvement programs Customer Quality Handle customer complaints warranty analysis and ensure prompt corrective preventive actions CAPA Maintain strong communication with OEMs Tier 1 customers regarding quality performance Team Management Lead train and mentor the quality team engineers inspectors supervisors Promote a culture of quality accountability and continuous improvement Problem Solving Improvement Use quality tools such as 7 QC Tools FMEA PPAP APQP 8D Root Cause Analysis and PDCA Drive zero-defect initiatives and reduce internal external rejections Key Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards IATF 16949 ISO 9001 Expertise in APQP PPAP FMEA MSA SPC Control Plans Hands-on experience in sheet metal forming machining and engine valve processes Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent leadership communication and customer handling abilities Qualifications Experience Education B Tech B E in Mechanical Automobile Production Engineering Experience 15-120 years in Quality Assurance Quality Control in the automotive sheet metal engine valve industry Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 40 000 00 - 80 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund
