Key Responsibilities: - Study and evaluation of various civil engineering materials related to earthworks, pavement and structural concrete; - Review and process material submittals on raw materials and final mixes to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications; - Provide technical support and assistance to material engineers on construction projects during the material approval and testing process and ensure work is done correctly and in compliance with the specifications; - Analyze material issues and defects to better understand the causes of problems and come up with better and more innovative solutions; - Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to assess the environmental exposure conditions and provide the necessary recommendations for durable concrete; - Prepare specifications and technical documents and reports and update of master specifications. Education and Professional Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (master degree in material engineering is preferred) - 4-12 years of experience in materials engineering; - Strong knowledge of fundamental concepts in materials related to soil, structural concrete and asphalt concrete specially in the field of Polymer Modified bitumen, Superpave mix design, self-consolidated concrete, precast concrete, high performance concrete, recycled material, etc - Strong computer skills including the use and manipulation of databases and spreadsheets. - Solid analytical and communication skills. - Strong English written and oral communication skills. - Dedicated and ready to work efficiently under workload pressure.” Interview Process: - Candidates whose profiles align with the required technical criteria will be shortlisted and invited by the recruitment team through email to participate in the Recruitment Drive. - You can drop your CV at: Naureen.huda@dar.com / Sayali.Rathod@dar.com / Neha.Verma@dar.com
