Job Description Dear Applicants, Greetings from Hindustan Platinum We are hiring for Indirect Tax for the location of wadala, below mentioned is brief description. Job Purpose Managing day to day aspects of indirect taxation, particularly related to Goods and Services Tax (GST). Ideal candidate should have a strong background in GST compliance(preparation and filing of GST returns & reconciliations), refund processes and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: 1. GST Returns Filing: - Ensure zero tolerance towards non-compliance of statutory tax requirements - Timely and accurate tax compliance and reporting obligations for indirect tax 1. GST Refund Management: - GST refund filing & processing of refunds 1. Proficiency with MS Office, ERP Systems, GST compliance tools - Proficiently use Excel for data sanitisation, reporting, and creating insightful presentations. - Exposure to Excel macros, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and Power Query. - Leverage these tools to enhance tax-related processes. - Hands-on experience with using major GST compliance tools. - Utilize Navision ERP system for indirect tax-related tasks. - Support in the accurate accounting of GST-related entries. - Reconcile GST accounts and maintain accurate records. 1. Internal MIS Preparation: - Compile and analyze data to create internal Management Information System (MIS) reports. - Present MIS reports to top management for decision-making. 1. Legal Knowledge: - Stay updated on GST law changes, case laws, and regulatory updates. - Apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. - Ensure compliance on budgetary changes and interim changes in law 1. Auditor Coordination: - Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and accounting. - Provide necessary documentation and explanations during audits. - Audit Readiness - GST Health Checks with periodic reviews to ensure compliance 1. Communication and Collaboration: - Good communicator; articulate in supporting the business and collaborating with external stakeholders. - Team player willing and able to perform in a highly collaborative environment.
