Title Automation tester Java Selenium Rest API Location Bangalore Chennai Hyderabad Pune Exp 6 yrs Key Responsibilities - Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API layers - Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman RestAssured or similar - Integrate automated tests with CI CD pipelines e g Jenkins GitLab - Collaborate with developers QA analysts and product owners to understand requirements and ensure test coverage - Conduct defect triage root cause analysis and regression testing - Maintain test documentation and provide detailed test reports - Continuously improve test automation practices and contribute to QA strategy Required Skills Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing - Strong programming skills in Java OOPs collections exception handling - Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and TestNG JUnit frameworks - Solid experience in REST API testing using RestAssured or similar tools - Familiarity with JSON XML HTTP methods and status codes - Experience with version control systems Git and CI tools Jenkins GitLab - Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies - Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Skills - Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber - Exposure to performance testing tools e g JMeter - Knowledge of containerization Docker and cloud platforms AWS Azure - Familiarity with database testing SQL
