Job Description: QA Engineer (4–7 Years) Location: Bangalore Experience: 4–7 years Role Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in API testing, UI automation, and database validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java Selenium, solid understanding of SQL, and exposure to performance or AI-based testing would be a plus. Key Responsibilities - Perform API testing (manual) including validation of request/response payloads, headers, status codes, and error handling. - Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java + Selenium. - Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure end-to-end test coverage. - Conduct database testing, write and execute basic SQL queries, and validate backend data integrity. - Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools. - Execute regression, functional, and integration test cycles. - Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and continuous process improvements. - (Nice to have) Assist in performance testing, monitor CPU utilization, and identify system bottlenecks. - (Nice to have) Contribute to AI-based testing initiatives or automation enhancements. Mandatory Skills - Manual API Testing - UI Automation using Java + Selenium - Basic Database Testing - Basic SQL commands & queries Good to Have - Experience with performance testing, system monitoring, and bottleneck identification - Exposure to AI-based testing frameworks or intelligent test automation Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 4–7 years of hands-on experience in software QA - Need analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
