Job Title: Collections Analyst II Japanese Speaker

Grade Level: G9

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

As a Collections Analyst II, you will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding receivables from Japanese-speaking customers. This role requires strong communication skills in Japanese (N3 or above) and English, along with experience in collections and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contact Japanese-speaking customers to follow up on overdue payments via phone, email, and other channels.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities in ERP systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Billing, Customer Service) to resolve issues affecting collections.
- Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on risk and value.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local financial regulations.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on collection status and risks.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service.
- Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N3 or higher) and fluent English communication.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
