Sub Department RJ South-Production Job posted on Nov 27 2025 Employee Type Executive Experience range Years 0 - 0 Function Oil Gas Operations Job DescriptionDocument Position Panel EngineerReporting Position Production Supt Department Operations Sub-Department Production EmploymentStatus Vedanta Location Rajasthan Grade - M4 DCS operation for Gas plant Operation including of the RJ South wells production utilities and pipeline facilities to achieve production targets ensuring safe operations Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Engineering Chemical Petroleum or Scientific discipline or a minimum of 5 years experience within the Oil Gas operations with a minimum of 2 years in a Panel DCS operation Has sufficient technical understanding of well pad pipeline oil and gas facilities able to recognize risks hazards losses and prevent conflicts between activities Behaviors Well-developed interpersonal self-motivated and able to work in emergency pressure scenarios Sense of team involvement information sharing and mutual support Work in a manner consistent with the operations philosophy of system ownership and with a heightened awareness of HSE Able to motivate and engender these qualities in the teams A recognition of the different cultural and behavioral aspects of dealing with a multinational multilingual work force and acting accordingly Skill DCS SCADA operations Knowledge and understanding of digital oil field tools PTW system applicable ISO standards IndicativeTasks WorkSite Activity Perform the activities below DCS PLC SCADA operation for plant operations Well management by monitoring with compliance of provided well production profile by subsurface team Close monitoring of the Cyclic Automated intermittent production AIP Troubleshooting of process equipment issues carrying out RCA of trips equipment failures Prepare Daily production reports Monitoring and consumption tracking of all production chemicals HSD and reconciliation at given frequency Plan execute routine maintenance activity notifying equipment trips breakdown Alarm management rationalization Tracking maintaining logs of all overrides long-term isolations Safe plant startup Black hot startup Safe handover of equipment of maintenance activity in discussion with field engineer Document review e g Operating Procedures modification of work packs etc Ensure all records logs certificates are maintained and updated Close monitoring tracking production sales targets Monitor routine plant and equipment operations e g start-up shutdown and monitoring Notifying logging plant activities in SAP trackers should have experience of SAP PM module Prepare comply to all the Audit documents VSAP AO QM
