Job Summary The Painter is responsible for preparing painting and finishing surfaces of walls ceilings furniture and other structures according to specifications The role involves selecting appropriate materials mixing paints applying coatings and ensuring high-quality finishes while maintaining safety and cleanliness at the worksite Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning sanding and filling cracks or holes Mix paints varnishes and other materials to achieve the desired color and consistency Apply paint stain or coatings using brushes rollers or spray equipment Protect surrounding areas and surfaces with tape drop cloths or plastic sheets Ensure smooth and uniform paint finishes on all surfaces Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective gear Maintain tools brushes and painting equipment in good working condition Match colors and finishes to design specifications or repair touch-ups Coordinate with supervisors or project managers for timelines and quality checks Clean up work areas after completion of each task Skills Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Technical training in painting preferred Proven experience as a painter or apprentice Knowledge of different painting techniques materials and tools Ability to mix and match paints and finishes accurately Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights or outdoors Awareness of safety procedures and use of protective equipment Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 10 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Work Location In person
