Urgent Search Lead Microsoft Application Engineer

Role Lead Microsoft Application Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Development Specialist for implementation and continuous improvement of Microsoft Search across our enterprise ecosystem This role will also play a key part in integrating structured and unstructured data sources and enabling intelligent search experiences through Microsoft Copilot Chat and Copilot Studio Key responsibilities o Microsoft Search Implementation Optimization Design configure and deploy Microsoft Search across Microsoft 365 SharePoint Teams Outlook etc Customize search verticals result types and connectors to meet business needs Monitor and improve search relevance performance and user experience Data Integration Knowledge Management Integrate standard e g SharePoint OneDrive and non-standard e g legacy systems third-party platforms data sources Implement Microsoft Graph connectors and APIs for custom data integration Copilot Enablement Collaborate with business and IT teams to design and implement Copilot Chat experiences Develop custom Copilot plugins and scenarios using Microsoft Copilot Studio Governance Compliance Ensure search and Copilot implementations adhere to Schneider Electric s data governance security and compliance standards Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage data access and privacy Skills and experience Education and experience Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science Information Systems or related field 5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 ecosystem including SharePoint Teams and primarily Microsoft Search Must have skills Microsoft 365 Search Ecosystem Deep understanding of Microsoft Search architecture schema and customization Experience configuring search verticals result types custom refiners and bookmarks Proficiency with Microsoft Graph API Microsoft Search API and Graph Connectors Proficiency in KQL Keyword Query Language for search tuning Experience with search analytics user behaviour tracking and relevance tuning Copilot Power Platform Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Chat and Copilot Studio Ability to design and deploy custom Copilot plugins Power Automate flows and Power Apps Familiarity with prompt engineering and semantic search concepts Data Integration Development Development experience using PowerShell Node JS or Python Knowledge of AI ML-based ranking models and natural language processing NLP is a plusGood to Have skills Security Compliance Governance Understanding of Microsoft Purview Information Protection and role-based access control RBAC Experience implementing data classification retention policies and compliance boundaries Let us learn about you Apply today You must submit an online application to be considered for any position with us This position will be posted until filled Looking to make an IMPACT with your career When you are thinking about joining a new team culture matters At Schneider Electric our values and behaviors are the foundation for creating a great culture to support business success We believe that our IMPACT values -
