Summary Own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team Executes standard operational technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task duties based on changing work situations Summary Own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer Responsible for departmental operations planning execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability quality volume timeliness etc Roles and Responsibilities Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions configuration performance estimation economics etc as part of the pre-ITO requisition process while interfacing with the commercial team Possesses a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies To include ITO Technical analysis of client need definition and optimization of the products scope description schedule industrial scheme cost considering contract and internal policies and procedures Calculation of plant system and equipment performance and efficiency Documentation of technical specifications costing elements for further contract execution phases This also includes OTR part where engineers work on customizing the products and implementing it for specific customer needs Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy strategy Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and or interdependent production cycles Uses technical experience and analytical thinking Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements Explains information developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues Required Qualifications Degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering 7 - 10 Years of Experience in Gas Insulated Sub-station EHV substation Design and Engineering Substation Tendering Estimation costing Desired Characteristics Expertise in Autocad Creo or Equivalent design tools SAP ERP Knowledge Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems Fluency in MS office tools like Excel Power point Out look Foreign Language in French Spanish Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided Yes
