We help the world run better At SAP we enable you to bring out your best Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better How We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences values flexibility and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work We offer a highly collaborative caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development recognition for your individual contributions and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from SAP BASIS Admin SAP HANA BASIS Meet your team We are looking to fill the position of an SAP BASIS Admin in the S 4HANA Service Engineering Delivery department in Bangalore to contribute to the fast-growing Cloud Landscape of the S 4HANA Cloud product The S 4HANA Service Engineering Delivery department is responsible for the complete life cycle management planning productization and operations of SAP s S 4HANA Cloud Software as a Service SaaS solutions The S 4HANA Service Engineering Delivery department drives and executes all required activities based on an end-to-end approach and facilitates all functions from development engagement to design productization and service of our productive customer landscapes What you ll do In your role you would be enabling the delivery and improvement of downtime optimized and automated semi-automated lifecycle management activities with a focus on providing feedback to fully automate wherever possible You will be responsible in delivering the SAP S 4HANA in cloud working with the best of technologies e g HANA Fiori the best of breed cloud platforms like Google Cloud Azure and host of cloud process platform and tools that have been built internally You will also be collaborating closely with multiple teams like S 4HANA Product Development Cloud Infrastructure and Solution Management colleagues spread across various geographies Role Requirements Ensure perform delivery of activities within defined SLAs for the customer internal landscapes which will include various internal stakeholders Sound knowledge of BASIS activities like Client Administration System Refresh Copy and application update upgrade One of the key Focus areas of your activities will be increasing automation along with stabilization improvements to help Operations to reduce manual effort and cost structure lower TCO and deliver faster services to our customers Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network Hands-On knowledge on HANA db administration Knowledge on handling ABAP HANA performance issues Root cause Analysis Knowledge on working on Cloud Environment is an added advantage Knowledge on working on Linux Basic understanding working knowledge of scripting is an added advantage Knowledge on SPC and TIC Tools will be added advantage SAP Web-dispatcher Load balancer functionality experience What you bring 1 -
