Job Description Position:Finning Manager Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Experience: 08 to 10 Years (Minimum) Industry : Manufacturing(Tube Industry background will be preferred) Salary :50K 75K CTC(Per Month) Location: Chhatral (Kalol) To lead and manage the fine tube finning operations in carbon and alloy steel seamless tube manufacturing. The role focuses on ensuring precision, surface integrity, metallurgical quality, and adherence to application-specific standards, particularly for heat exchanger, boiler, and condenser tubes. Duties and Responsibilities: - Supervise all finning operations on seamless tubes. - In-depth understanding of finning processes for carbon and alloy steel tubes. - Ensure accurate fin geometry (height, thickness, pitch) as per design & customer Drawings. - Control parameters for extruded, tension-wound, or embedded finning techniques. - Manage the straightening, cutting, and final finishing of finned tubes. - Operate and monitor finning machines, fin die setups, and CNC/automatic finning systems. - Tools & Spares inventory management & stores track records. - Aluminum strips & muff tubes inventory Management. - Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance of machines. - Maintain accurate logs of production parameters, material batch records, and inspection reports. - Ensure traceability of all tubes and components used in the finning process. - Lead and train operators, technicians, and helpers on best practices and safety protocols. - Ensure strict adherence to safety, EHS, and 5S practices on the shop floor.
