Job Description Senior Accountant, E-commerce Client Services (Gurgaon) About Easy Works Easy Works is a fast-growing service provider supporting over 10,000 e-commerce sellers and businesses with Virtual Office Solutions, GST Advisory, Compliance, and Accounting Services. We are hiring a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our client services team and manage the complex accounting and taxation needs of our fast-paced e-commerce clientele. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedSenior Accountantto join our dedicated client services team inGurgaon. This pivotal, client-facing role involves managing the complete accounting,GST, andTDScompliance functions for a portfolio of oure-commerce seller clients. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Indian taxation laws and mandatory experience within a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm environment and e-commerce accounting. Key Responsibilities 1. E-commerce Client Accounting Management - Manage thefull-cycle accountingprocess for multiple e-commerce clients, ensuring compliance withIndian Accounting Standards. - Perform detailedbank and marketplace reconciliation(e.g., Amazon India, Flipkart, Shopify), accurately recording sales, payment gateway fees, and commissions. - Overseeinventory accounting(COGS, valuation) for businesses dealing with physical goods. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing clients with actionable insights into their profitability and cash flow. - Expertly utilize and manage accounting software likeTally ERPand/orZoho Booksfor client operations and reporting. 2. Taxation and Statutory Compliance (Client Focus) - Ensure timely and accurate computation and filing of all clientGoods and Services Tax (GST)returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C) and reconciliation. - Handle all aspects ofTax Deducted at Source (TDS)compliance for clients, including computation, deposit, and timely filing of quarterly TDS returns. - Manage corporate tax compliance, including preparation of workings forIncome Tax returns (ITR)for various client entities. - Provide guidance on complex issues specific to e-commerce, such asTCS under GSTand marketplace settlement challenges. 3. Client Advisory and Relationship - Serve as theprimary accounting and tax point of contactfor your assigned clients, building strong, trusted relationships. - Proactively advise clients on strategies tooptimize GST and Income Tax liabilitiesand improve financial performance. Required Qualifications - Education:B.Com / M.Com / Semi-qualified CA /Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). - Experience:Minimum 2 yearsof mandatory, demonstrableworking experience with a Chartered Accountant (CA) Firm. - Core Knowledge:Strong, practical, and up-to-date knowledge ofAccounting Principles, GST, and TDSprovisions in India. - Software Proficiency:Expert-level proficiency inTally ERPis essential. Proficiency inZoho Booksor similar cloud-based accounting platforms is a plus. - Industry Preference:Demonstrated experience managing accounting and taxation fore-commerce businessesis highly preferred. - Location:Willingness to work from ourGurgaon office.
