Job Description Effective Field As a Staff Security Operations Engineer, you will play a key role in securing our systems by managing our corporate security posture and enhancing operational efficiency through advanced detection and response capabilities - Monitor and respond to security alerts from multiple sources, including SOC escalations, ensuring swift and effective incident handling; - Manage and optimize SIEM and SOAR tools (e.g., Azure Sentinel), ensuring comprehensive visibility and effective security orchestration for our systems; - Support audits for compliance frameworks such as TISAX, SOC2, and ISO, collaborating with Engineering, GRC, and other teams to gather evidence and improve processes; - Strengthen our security framework by deploying new detection mechanisms, refining security tools, and managing key security partners; - Investigate security incidents, handle urgent requests, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the incident response process; - Enhance email and endpoint security using tools such as EDR (Carbon Black, CrowdStrike), vulnerability management, infrastructure best practices, and threat intelligence to mitigate risks; - Collaborate in developing internal security tooling and ensuring effective configurations across diverse operating systems (Mac, Windows, Linux). What distinguishes you - Extensive experience in security operations, with expertise in managing SIEM and SOAR tools, security logging, and detection engineering; - Proficient in Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and cloud security best practices, with a focus on scalable cloud-native environments; - Solid hands-on experience in incident response across detection, triage, remediation, and proactive risk mitigation; - Strong knowledge of GitHub/GitLab administration, endpoint management, and server-less functions; - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc; - Familiarity with API security, vulnerability management tools, and threat intelligence platforms; - A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt in fast-paced and dynamic environments; - Passionate about fostering teamwork and professional growth within the organization, acting as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
