Product Pickup & Delivery Collect products or packages from warehouses, stores, or designated locations. Ensure timely delivery to customers, businesses, or other designated recipients. Verify delivery details such as address, contact information, and product specifications. Follow the most efficient route planning to ensure timely delivery. 2. Customer Service & Communication Provide a professional and courteous interaction with all customers. Inform customers about expected delivery times and any potential delays. Handle customer queries and resolve minor complaints on the spot. Maintain a positive image of the company during customer interactions. 3. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of deliveries, cash on delivery (COD), and returned items. Collect signatures or proof of delivery where required. Report daily delivery activities, exceptions, and delays to the supervisor. Use delivery management systems or mobile apps to update order status in real time. 4. Vehicle & Safety Management Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained, fueled, and clean. Follow traffic rules and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure safe transportation. Handle products carefully to avoid damage during transit. Report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately to the supervisor. 5. Cash Handling & Payments Collect cash, checks, or digital payments when required. Issue receipts and maintain proper documentation for cash-on-delivery orders. Ensure accurate accounting of collected amounts and report discrepancies. 6. Coordination & Teamwork Coordinate with the logistics, warehouse, and customer support teams for smooth operations. Communicate effectively about any delays, route changes, or special delivery requirements. Collaborate with other delivery executives to optimize routes, schedules, and workload distribution. Required Skills & Competencies 1. Time Management & Punctuality Ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently within stipulated time frames. Punctual and dependable in maintaining delivery schedules. 2. Communication Skills Clear and polite communication with customers and supervisors. Ability to handle customer queries, complaints, and special instructions effectively. 3. Technical & Digital Skills Familiarity with delivery management software, GPS, and mobile apps. Basic knowledge of smartphone apps for route planning, navigation, and customer communication. 4. Physical Fitness & Driving Skills Ability to lift, carry, and transport packages safely. Valid driver’s license for the respective delivery vehicle (bike, car, or van). Strong driving skills with knowledge of traffic rules and safe driving practices. 5.
