About Neighborly Neighborly is a local network of home service brands that will connect you to very specific vetted local experts Our family of service professionals work with rigorous quality standards to repair maintain and enhance your home With pros living in your community scheduling is quick and convenient About Neighborly Neighborly is a local network of home service brands that will connect you to very specific vetted local experts Our family of service professionals work with rigorous quality standards to repair maintain and enhance your home With pros living in your community scheduling is quick and convenient Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Product Engineering Manager to lead the development of enterprise-grade scalable and secure software products This role requires strong technical expertise in NET ReactJS PostgreSQL AWS Cloud and CI CD practices as well as hands-on experience with Generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot Cursor Windsurf or similar The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record of managing globally distributed engineering teams fostering collaboration across time zones and cultures Key Responsibilities Global Team Leadership Lead and manage a distributed team of engineers across multiple geographies Build a culture of trust accountability and collaboration across time zones Ensure effective communication alignment and productivity in a remote or hybrid environment Conduct regular 1 1s performance reviews and career development planning for global team members Product Technical Execution Collaborate with Product Managers to define and deliver product features aligned with business goals Translate product vision into scalable maintainable and secure technical solutions Oversee the full software development lifecycle with a focus on quality performance and security Enterprise-Grade Engineering Drive the design and development of enterprise-grade applications with high availability fault tolerance and performance Ensure adherence to security best practices compliance standards and data protection policies Architect and maintain systems that scale to support large user bases and complex business workflows CI CD DevOps Design and maintain robust CI CD pipelines for automated testing deployment and monitoring Collaborate with DevOps to manage infrastructure as code and ensure system reliability and observability Continuously improve deployment processes to reduce downtime and increase release velocity Generative AI Integration Leverage tools like GitHub Copilot Cursor Windsurf or similar to accelerate development improve code quality and support team productivity Promote the responsible and secure use of AI tools in the development process Stay current with emerging GenAI technologies and evaluate their applicability to the teams workflow Cloud Infrastructure Lead cloud-native development using AWS services e g EC2 RDS S3 Lambda Optimize infrastructure for scalability cost-efficiency and security Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with QA UX UI DevOps and Customer Support teams Communicate technical decisions and progress to stakeholders effectively Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field Total 12 years of software engineering experience and 4 years as Engineering Technical manager role owning the software deliverables with quality and timeline and driving the team towards the project goals Proven experience in building and maintaining enterprise-grade scalable and secure products Experience with dotNET Core ReactJS PostgreSQL AWS Cloud Services CI CD tools and practices Experience managing global or distributed engineering teams Practical experience using Generative AI tools e g GitHub Copilot Cursor Windsurf Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture Preferred Skills Experience with Docker Kubernetes or AWS ECS EKS Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools e g CloudWatch Datadog Exposure to microservices architecture and RESTful APIs Experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment
