The primary responsibility of a special educator is to develop and implement individualized education plans IEPs for students creating a safe and supportive learning environment and working collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure that the needs of all students are met Some of the specific Job responsibilities of a special educator include Assessing students abilities and needs This involves evaluating students cognitive emotional and behavioural functioning as well as identifying their strengths and weaknesses in academic and non-academic areas Developing and implementing IEPs Based on the results of the assessments a special educator will develop an individualized education plan IEP for each student which includes specific goals accommodations and modifications to meet the student s unique needs Providing instruction and support A special educator may work with students one-on-one in small groups or in a classroom setting to provide academic instruction and support in areas where the student is struggling Creating a safe and supportive learning environment This includes establishing clear rules and expectations for behaviour promoting positive interactions among students and providing emotional support for students who may be struggling with social emotional or behavioural issues Collaborating with other educators and support staff A special educator will work closely with other teachers school psychologists speech therapists and other support staff to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed Requirements BE D in special Education master s degree in special education Experience working with multiple disabilities including autism spectrum ADD and ADHD learning disabilities developmental delays and neglect issues Positive compassionate personality Ability to evaluate students accurately and objectively Excellent communication and teaching skills Location Little Aryans Pre K Nandivali Shri Malang Road Near Hotel Relax Kalyan - East Maharashtra 421306 Interested candidates can contact us hr littlearyans in or 9321081140 Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Kalyan Maharashtra Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Education Master s Required Experience total work 1 year Preferred Language English Preferred Work Location In person
