Job Title Eyewear Counselor Age- 18 to 24 year Education - 2 graduation Location - All Odisha Salary - 9k to 11k negation Job Summary An Eyewear Counselor assists customers in selecting the right eyewear based on their vision needs prescription face shape lifestyle and personal preferences This role combines customer service product knowledge and basic optical support to ensure each client leaves with eyewear that is functional fashionable and comfortable Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Guide customers in choosing frames and lenses based on prescription usage and style Provide expert advice on lens options such as anti-reflective blue light filter progressive photochromic etc Accurately interpret and explain eyeglass prescriptions Ensure proper fit of frames make minor frame adjustments for comfort and alignment Manage sales transactions and maintain accurate customer records Upsell premium lenses accessories and warranty packages Coordinate with optometrists optical labs and suppliers for timely order fulfillment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the showroom and product displays Stay updated on the latest eyewear trends and optical technologies Key Skills Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good sense of style and fashion awareness Basic understanding of optical terms and prescriptions Sales and customer service orientation Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to work in a fast-paced retail or clinical environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in optical sales or customer service preferred Knowledge of optical products and lenses preferred Training in optics or a certification in optical dispensing a plus not always required Key Responsibilities Customer Interaction Greet and assist customers in selecting eyeglasses sunglasses and lenses Understand customer needs based on prescription lifestyle and preferences Product Guidance Recommend frame styles materials and lens options e g blue light filters progressive lenses Explain features benefits and pricing of products Sales Upselling Promote premium lenses coatings and add-ons Achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Fitting Adjustments Assist with fitting frames to ensure comfort and proper alignment Make minor adjustments or repairs as needed Collaboration Work closely with optometrists to interpret prescriptions and assist in eye care services Coordinate with lab technicians or vendors for order processing Administrative Tasks Handle billing invoicing and insurance claims if applicable Maintain inventory and ensure display cleanliness Job Type Full-time Pay 9 000 00 - 11 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
