Job Title: Director of Product Security & Market Strategy

Role Overview

This is a senior, dual-focused role for a strategic expert who will lead the design and development of our core cybersecurity software platform, while simultaneously defining and executing our global go-to-market strategy. The Director will ensure our product is technically superior and perfectly aligned with the most pressing needs of the global cybersecurity client landscape. This position reports directly to the Founder.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Product Security Leadership (Technical)

- Architect and Design: Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and development of Owl's core cybersecurity software, ensuring maximum effectiveness on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS platforms.
- Cutting-Edge Technology: Drive the selection and implementation of advanced security technologies (e.g., AI/ML-driven threat detection, Zero Trust principles, next-gen endpoint protection).
- Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Integrate security best practices (e.g., Threat Modeling, Secure Coding) into every phase of the software development process.
- Vulnerability & Threat Research: Continuously monitor the global threat landscape to ensure the product anticipates and defends against emerging attack vectors.

2. Global Market Strategy (Business)

- Market Analysis & Segmentation: Conduct comprehensive global market research to identify key client sectors (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, SMEs, Consumer), market size, and ideal operating fields for Owl’s solution.
- Target Client & Persona Definition: Identify and profile the specific companies and buyers most in need of Owl's cross-platform protection.
- Competitive Intelligence: Track and analyze key competitors, their feature sets, pricing, and market share to establish Owl's unique selling proposition (USP) and competitive advantage.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning: Develop the strategic roadmap for launching the product, including pricing, channel strategy (direct sales, partnerships), and initial geographic focus.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with future Sales and Marketing teams to translate complex technical features into clear, compelling value propositions and use cases for clients.

Qualifications :

Required Technical Expertise

- 8+ years of progressive experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Application Security, or Software Development.
- Proven experience in architecting security products (e.g., EDR/XDR, Antivirus, Mobile Security) with a deep understanding of OS-level security on multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, mobile).
- Expertise in common programming languages used for security product development (e.g., Python, C++, Java) and cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with modern threat intelligence frameworks and adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Required Strategic & Business Acumen

- 3+ years of experience in a role with significant market-facing responsibility (e.g., Product Management, Technical Sales, Market Strategy).
- Demonstrated knowledge of the overall global cybersecurity vendor landscape, key industry trends, and client procurement cycles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present market data to inform product development decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage with potential partners, analysts, and enterprise clients.

Education & Certifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CSSLP, Certified Product Manager) are highly desirable.
