Job Summary Responsible for the installation maintenance testing and repair of electrical systems wiring and equipment on ships ensuring compliance with marine electrical standards and safety regulations Key Responsibilities Install and connect electrical wiring switchboards lighting systems and power distribution panels on ships Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical drawings Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical circuits control systems and marine electronics Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of motors generators navigation lights alarms and other electrical equipment Test electrical systems using meters megger and other diagnostic tools to ensure safety and functionality Ensure compliance with ship classification society rules marine safety regulations and company quality standards Collaborate with engineers welders and other trades during ship construction refitting and repair works Maintain records of electrical installations repairs and maintenance activities Follow proper lockout tagout and safety procedures to prevent hazards Qualifications Skills ITI Diploma in Electrical or Marine Electrical Engineering or equivalent Proven experience as an electrician preferably in shipbuilding ship repair or marine industries Knowledge of marine electrical codes standards and safety procedures Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
