Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled FMS (Facility Management Services) Engineer to oversee daily IT infrastructure support, both onsite and remotely, ensuring business continuity and smooth operation of network, server, and cloud systems. This role involves system administration, user support, and coordination with vendors and internal IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Administration: Install, configure, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, and OS environments.
- Network Management: Set up and manage routers, switches, firewalls, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity.
- Security Oversight: Implement antivirus, firewall, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard infrastructure.
- Data Management: Administer access controls, perform routine backups, and ensure data availability and recovery.
- Software Deployment & Integration: Support installation, upgrades, and integration of third-party software.
- User Support: Provide L1/L2 level support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues (onsite & remote).
- Cloud Services Management: Assist in managing virtual machines, cloud storage, and cloud security configurations.
- Project Assistance: Support IT project execution and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Vendor Liaison: Evaluate IT procurement options and liaise with vendors for purchases and service renewals.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of activities, issue resolutions, and SOPs in alignment with best practices.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems, or network administration.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux servers, network protocols, and security principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
