Manufacturing Specialist

Position: Unit ME Coordinator Organization Unit – Mundra Unit Introduces and assists in implementing the best practices to improve the performance of the manufacturing process, ensuring implementation of improvement projects to impact company bottom line and sustainability. About the Role Facilitates in devising and implementation of Manufacturing Excellence (ME) related initiatives through FIP, DMT, KAIZEN across all manufacturing sites in consultation with the Corporate ME team. Responsibilities - Facilitates and arrange training of employees at various levels on ME tools and techniques (DMAIC, PDCA, 5S, KAIZEN etc.) for smooth implementation of Manufacturing Excellence initiatives across all manufacturing sites. - Regular reporting on the progress of various ME projects to facilitate publication of monthly newsletter and dashboard. - Conducting process audits & process reviews for ensuring strict adherence to the systems as per defined guidelines. Qualifications - B.Tech/ B.E (Chemical- Mandatory) & MBA (Operation Management preferred, not mandatory) - Six Sigma Green Belt preferred not mandatory. - 1 year of experience in manufacturing preferably in the chemical process industry. Required Skills - Experience in manufacturing processes. - Knowledge of ME tools and techniques. Preferred Skills - Six Sigma Green Belt certification. - Experience in the chemical process industry.
