You’ll own the entire engineering pipeline — backend, deployment, app integrations, and everything in between. Work directly with the founders to shape product direction, strategy, and tech roadmap. What We’re Looking For You’re not just a developer - you’re a builder. Someone who thrives in chaos, enjoys creating from scratch, and loves solving hard problems with elegant tech. We’re looking for someone who can wear multiple hats - backend architect, Android engineer, debugger, problem solver, and product thinker Core Responsibilities Backend: Strong in Java (Kotlin a plus) Experience with Spring Boot, API design, authentication, session management Hands-on with asynchronous programming (Coroutines/Futures) Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL), ORM frameworks (JPA/Hibernate/Exposed) Bonus: Caching, queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), background jobs, system design & scalability Android: Kotlin-based Android development Familiar with MVVM/MVI/Clean Architecture Networking using Retrofit, image rendering with Picasso/Coil Experience integrating with REST APIs Strong grasp of UI/UX performance and async handling (Coroutine & Flow) Hands-on with nested RecyclerViews, multiple view types, dynamic layouts General Engineering: Write clean, modular, and testable code Experience with unit/integration/UI tests, observability, and monitoring Ability to set up microservices from scratch Familiarity with analytics like Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics, and crash reporting Product & Ownership: End-to-end ownership: backend → mobile → deploy → debug Strong product sense — balance speed, scale, and user experience Prototype fast, iterate faster Thrive in ambiguity and make things happen What You’ll Get A front-row seat to the 0→1 startup journey Opportunity to learn, grow and build into a leadership role, post-funding Ownership of engineering decisions and direction Opportunity to build, scale, and lead the tech team Work on something that helps thousands of creators bring their stories to life (Don’t worry there is compensation as well …) Compensation ₹20,000 – ₹40,000/month (pre-funding) Full-time remote role Transition to leadership & ESOPs post-funding Ideal For You If You dream of being an early builder in a product-first startup.
