Role: Business Development Executive

Division Function: Sales & Marketing

Location: Surat & Rajkot

Reporting To: Area Sales Development Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Sales & Distribution Executive to drive sales growth and manage distribution channels for our General Maintenance products. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial consumables, distribution management, and customer relationship building within industrial sectors such as manufacturing, construction, automotive, or engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

Build and maintain relationships with industrial clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Distribution Management:

Develop and manage distribution networks to ensure efficient product delivery.

Coordinate with distributors, wholesalers, and logistics partners to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Market Research & Strategy:

Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.

Proposal & Negotiation:

Prepare sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals with clients and distributors.

Maintain profitable pricing strategies while ensuring competitive positioning in the market.

Coordination & Reporting:

Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in chemical/mechanical engineering or related fields. Management qualification will be an added advantage.

2+ years of experience in industrial sales and distribution.

Strong understanding of industrial products and supply chain processes.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage multiple distribution channels and work under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP software.

Willingness to travel for client meetings and market visits.
